The Shark Tank project, introduced into the Spanish curriculum in 2017, emphasizes inquiry-based learning, authentic assessment, and community involvement through the participation of Spanish-speaking community members as judges. This year’s winners were Josie Cromer, Chloe Gagnon, and Olivia Lorenz, who presented recycled buttons inspired by Inca culture as a modern addition to traditional tapadas limeñas. Special thanks to this year’s Sharks: Zeanny Egea, Marisol Gil, Dr. Zielinski, and Hector Hernandez.

The Class of 2026 dedicates their yearbook to Marc Salmin!
"Mr. Salmin is so kind, he is always making conversation with students and making a positive impact on everyone. Whether talking to him about art, something going on in your life, or even just something small, he is always going to be there to listen to you. The Class of 2026 will immensely miss Mr. Salmin because of his continued support throughout our high school years, the conversations he had with us, and the laughs we shared. However, we are very grateful that he is going to help future classes just like he helped and supported ours."
