On Tuesday March 5, 2024 the Culinary and Hospitality ProStart teams went to compete for the state championship title in Concord, NH. This event is held and coordinated by the NH Lodging & Restaurant Association Education Foundation and requires teams to prepare a three course meal and build a restaurant concept. Students competed against multiple teams and were able to take home first place in both categories. The teams will be heading to Nationals in April!

Congratulations to Chef Matthew Holland for being recognized with the Golden Apple for the month of February. Colleague Ms. Robin Mauro had this to say about Chef: You are one of the most public faces in our school between your catering events, in-house luncheons, CTE Advisory board work, and the mobile food trailer. Thank you for embracing, understanding, and thoroughly enjoying the Life Skills students you have mentored over the years. You have not only taught them skills but taught them that they are a part of a team with much to offer regardless of ability.
