"Over the weekend, Spartan robotics participated in the regional FIRST Robotics competition at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. We participated with 40 other schools and private groups from across Massachusetts performing with skill, perseverance, and ferocity. Watching them compete was nothing short of an education, as each member of Spartan Robotics is uniquely adept in their respective roles for the team. The atmosphere was lit with inspiration, the sounds of hammers and drills filling the halls with a lively and productive ambiance. Our Spartan roboticists behaved professionally and devised solutions for every single issue which arose, of which there was no shortage. By the end of the competition, our team persevered and we returned to the school with heads full of ideas, and the drive to bring them to reality. As their advisors and coaches, I, along with Karen Keller, could not be prouder of our team." - Robotics Program Advisor, Ryan Carr

"The ProStart Restaurant Management team went to Boston, MA on April 1st to compete in the Regional ProStart Competition. This competition is solely for bragging rights, as all State Champions will still attend Nationals, regardless of Regional results. The students left Boston as Regional Champions and will now prepare to present their restaurant concept at Nationals in Washington, D.C. from May 1st-5th.
