Spotlight on Gold Part Two
Madison Overhoff, a junior at White Mountains Regional High School started taking a Child Growth and Development Class that introduced her to Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. Madison also is a STEAM student. Through her passion of STEAM and her new found knowledge of child development, she became interested in the Teach and Train event offering in FCCLA.

WMRHS Awarded $250,000 Grant From the Barr Foundation
White Mountains Regional High School has been awarded a Barr Foundation Grant to continue work on high school redesign. An award of $250k from the Boston - based Barr Foundation will allow WMRHS to proceed with its plan to reshape the high school experience for students and staff.

Explore-Learn-Create! The 2019 Futures Summer Camp program is open to students entering grades 7-9 both from WMRSD and outside WMRSD. One of the goals of this program is to offer a quality summer programs to “middle school age” students who don’t seem to have as many camp opportunities in the North Country.

WMRHS Life Skills Bingo
Friday, May, 10th, 2019, at the McIntyre Apartments Hall, 16 Highland Street, Whitefield, New Hampshire, the Third Annual WMRHS Life Skills Bingo Night will be held to benefit the Life Skills Activity Fund. This is a fun filled event for the whole family. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with games starting at 6:00. Hot Dogs, sweets, chips and drinks will be for sale. One book (10 games) is $10.00. Bingo Daubers are $1.00. There will also be a 50/50 Raffle. We have lots of great prizes and gifts for winning participants.
